This Privacy Policy explains how DigiNexa ("DigiNexa", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information across our mobile and web applications (the "Apps"), including apps distributed via app stores or embedded as webviews. Our Apps generally help businesses manage customer/member records, payments, due dates, and related operations.

Scope

This policy applies to all DigiNexa Apps that use phone-number-and-OTP authentication and Firebase services for authentication and data storage.

Information we collect

Information you provide

Phone number: Used to register and receive a one-time password (OTP) for authentication.
Business and account data: Data you enter to use the Apps, such as customer/member names, contact details, services/plans, payment amounts, dates, due dates, invoices/receipts, notes, and similar records.
Content and settings: Preferences, configurations, and any files or attachments you upload (if the App supports uploads).
Support communications: Information you send to us when you contact support.

Automatically collected information

Local storage: The Apps may store small items locally on your device (for example, a theme or session preference) using localStorage. This remains on your device unless you clear it or use the in-app delete option.
Technical and usage data: Basic technical information (device or browser type, OS/app version, screen size, language) and usage logs (timestamps, feature interactions) may be collected to operate, secure, and improve the Apps. We do not use this for profiling or targeted advertising.

How we use your information

To authenticate you via OTP so you can access your account.
To provide core features of the Apps, including managing customers/members, payments, due dates, invoices, and related records.
To synchronize, store, and back up your data using Firebase services.
To provide the in-app "Delete user data" / "Close account" options and process data deletion requests.
To maintain, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the Apps and our infrastructure.
To communicate with you about service, security, and support.

Where your data is stored

We use Firebase services for authentication and data storage. Your authentication data (e.g., phone number for OTP) and your App data (e.g., customers/members, payments, due dates, documents) are stored on Firebase servers. Firebase privacy and security practices apply; please review Firebase/Google privacy documentation for details.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Apps. If you delete your data or close your account, we delete the App-managed data associated with your account from active systems.

Note: After deletion, residual backups or cached copies may persist for a limited period per Firebase/Google retention policies.

Data deletion and account controls

All DigiNexa Apps include a "Delete user data" option (and/or "Close account") in the account/settings area. Using this option deletes your App-managed data associated with your account. Uninstalling an app does not automatically delete server-side data — please use the in-app option or contact us.

To remove your authentication record (phone number) from the authentication provider, use the in-app account deletion if available or contact us for assistance.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We share data with service providers that perform services on our behalf (for example, Firebase/Google for hosting, authentication, database, storage, and related infrastructure). They are permitted to use your data only to provide services to us and must follow applicable privacy and security obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition) where data remains subject to this policy or a substantially similar one.
Our Apps do not include advertising networks or third-party trackers by default. If additional third-party services are added in the future, we will update this page.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. Firebase provides industry-standard security for authentication and data storage, including transport-level encryption (HTTPS) and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our Apps are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

International data transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in countries other than your own where Firebase/Google or their service providers operate. By using the Apps, you consent to these transfers.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. You can also object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by phone number) before fulfilling requests.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Apps after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
